WINGS OF THE NORTH AIR MUSEUM NEWS & NOTES***4TH OF JULY 2017 The museum will be open two different times on Tuesday, July 4. First we will be open from 10AM to 2PM for those of you looking for a great family outing to celebrate this patriotic holiday. If you haven’t visited recently we have some new exhibits and art work in the gallery and we expect all the airplanes to be on site for viewing in the hangar although we will not be able to do any flying.
We will also be open 8PM-10PM on the 4th! Our front parking lot has always been a popular spot to park and watch the fireworks shows from Valley Fair, Shakopee, and other locations in the river valley. Come by early to get a good parking spot and then visit the museum while you wait for the fireworks to start. As an added bonus for the kids they will be able to visit Garfield and Odie in the museum lobby and, of course, the rest of the museum will be open for the whole family to enjoy.
The show is just two weeks away on July 15-16. Check the web site for a list of the airplanes and VIPs expected to attend. This will also be your first chance to see our Corsair which is scheduled to arrive just in time for the AirExpo. We still need a few more volunteers for the show and you can sign up on the web site where you can also buy tickets for the Evening with Eagles dinner which will be held in the museum hangar. Tickets are limited so get yours now.
