Military History
October, 1945 45-8884 was complete when the Fairfax plant was closed and was delivered directly to the disposal location at Altus, Oklahoma.
December, 1946 45-8884 was added to the Army Air Force inventory and lown to storage in Pyote, Texas.
December 1947 45-8884 was removed from storage and assigned to a base unit at Kelly Field, Texas.
1953 45-8884 was assigned to Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.
Civlian History
October 1958 45-8884 was sold to Jack Lysdale from St. Paul, Minnesota and assigned the civil registration of N3156G.  Lysdale acquired as surplus for $1,960 at Norton AFB, CA.
October 1967 N3156G is sold to John M. Larsen of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Operated by the Minnesota Aircraft Musuem of Minneapolis in 1972.
May 1978 N3156G is sold to JerryJanes of Vancouver, British Columbia.
October 1979 N3156G is sold to Custom Welding and Fabricating of Mooringsport, Louisiana.
June 1980 N3156G is sold to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.  Registration is changed to C-GCWJ.  Operated as 45-8884 “Death Watch” and later RCAF/5262/HQ-262 “City of Edmonton”.
1984 C-GCWJ is used in a Disney Circle-Vision project in Tahiti.
August 1985 C-GCWJ is sold to Courtesy Aircraft of Rockford, Illinois.  It is assigned the rgistration N5833B and immediately sold to Randal Porter and David Brady of Cartersville, Georgia and flown as “Georgia Girl” by Air Acres Airmuseum of Cartersville, Georgia.
August 1993 N5833B is sold to Chris and Pat Harker of C & P Aviation in Blaine, MN.
2004-2007 Restored to military standard by Aero Trader of Chino, California.  Delivered back to Minnesota on May 15, 2007.
